I'll be shooting irons out of the AK. I WAS going to use my Kobra, but NOOOOOO...it had to snap in half on me...BOOOOOO.

ARPC? When and where are these events? My AR is getting seriously neglected. I gotta get some shooting in, accurate or not. |

That pic was at the ARPC.
The Practical Rifle event is up at Tri-County though. They’re held on the second Saturday of the month (October 8th which is this Saturday). And yes, you should most certainly bring your AR out and have some fun. Last month was my first go at it and I had a great time. |

I got your PM Unka-Boo, thanks for the reply. I'll go ahead and ask my questions here in case anyone else has the same questions:
What all does the event entail? Is this tactical shooting in multiple positions? All bench? Do I just need a rifle or is this like a 3-gun match where I need a full arsenal? If I show up, how much ammo/mags/equipment would I need to bring? I might not make it to this event, as school just started and I'm trying to keep my head above water for now, but I'll definitely file it away under things to do in the near future. |

They'll be in the pit with some barrels, tubes, and boards.

In the past, Randy has e-mailed a rough outline of the course. I was wandering if anybody had it for this month's shoot. I guess you might not have received this in the past. And yes I DO understand the point of not knowing all of the courses!

I saw Randy going out to TCGC as I was leaving (about 4:30pm today).
Also, just so you know, I can shoot rifles decently. I absolutely suck with pistols. Oops. This is NoAim, not Nox by the way (he should really turn off his computer sometime...) |
