372 Code Section 27-3-4 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to legal weapons

373 for hunting wildlife generally, is amended by revising paragraph (9) as follows:

374 "(9) The use of silencers for hunting within this state is prohibited Any firearm otherwise

375 authorized for use in the hunting or taking of game may be equipped with a silencer, as

Ive said in a few threads that I think that several of the Pro-Gun bills were combined.

Or maybe they were split up from this bill?  Although not listed separately, It sure does seem to resemble that of SB 98, SB 301 and many other from this page GCO Current Bills

This was a GCO bill, and GCO was pushing the silencer issue (for those here who were complaining that GCO was not), which is why it was in there.

The House KILLED THIS BILL.

It is no longer active.

SB 98 is the only substantive change that we have the chance to make this year.  Please help SB 98 along today.  Today is Sine Die, the last day of the session, and your last chance to make a difference.
