I looked close at getting  a CZ550, but don't know much about the 527 action.

I've seen some talk on the net about them, and the owners liked them. They seem well built and have nice single set triggers. I think (but don't quote me) that the barrels are hammer foged

The 452's are great rifles and I hope to try out a 527 in 7.62X39 really soon.

Ive owned a couple 527s (221 and 22H). BOth were tack drivers, excellent esp given the price I paid. One was [urchased used and the other new. The action is a minimauser and quite strong. If you buy other than the American mdl youll need to get nonUS style scope mounts. The reason is that the dovetail on the receiver is an odd size.

I reloaded for both my rifles and found that the best OAL cartridge length was longer than the mag would accept. Oh well...I used both my rifles for target and varmint hunting and single feeding wasnt a big problem.

I cant think of anything else at the moment...theyre sweet guns well made and reasonably priced...whats not to like
