Anyone going to the NC Recon match in Oxford this weekend? I am making the trip down from the socialist state of NJ. I hope to have a good time shooting in the wonderful state of NC.

It looks like it's a 3-Gun match at a place called The Range.

There is a 3 gun recon match at The Range in Oxford NC this weekend. The course of fire is a tactical tree gun match in a two day format. A recon match means that you have to hump your gear all day. No resupply from the car and you have to shoot with all your gear on.

I've never heard of that. Sounds like fun.

There's a decent range in Wilkesboro?!?!?! If only I'd known that last year when I was in town for several days every month...

In a couple of weeks we have the BRD going on here in VA. Feel free to come down and have some fun. There are some other NJ members coming down and camping for this event.
