Maybe one of these...
rail for light

and one of these...
the light

That would still keep it simple wouldn't it?

Yep.

Simplicity is good, but in my opinion a serious rifle absolutely must have iron sights, a white light, and preferably a sturdy red dot.

Actually, I think the laser is going on a 12" SBR build if I ever get going on it and this rifle is moving closer to the back of the safe....

10 4! I like the sound of a SBR build! I am wanting to build another one, but I have ran out of room in my safe!  Not sure what to do now...after I get married we are going to buy a house so I am thinking about building a dedicated gun room!

Yea I have been looking at that door....I might just buy another safe and dedicate a whole room to my guns, hunting etc. That way I will have a place other than the living room for my trophies!

THIS

This is the one I like. Installation is a little more difficult but well worth it. Keeps the weight down and is rock solid. I THINK it will fit over your gas block but I see it has a bayo lug so I'm not entirely sure. Those are pretty easy to chop with a dremel tool as long as you don't get it too hot.

DD would know if it will fit.

I just prefer a longer sight radius and lighter weight.
