Missouri Militia?

My friend was wandering around the web and came across the Missouri Militia site. anyone here know anything about them? ever been a member? are they worth joining?

looks like it might be an interesting group to join to waste extra time on the weekends.

I remember the Missouri 51st Militia in the 1990's. I don't know what happened to them.

I have high standards. I would never join an organization that would have me as a member.

If the service would have me as a member, I would not join the service either!

Ya know, there are a few vets who are members of the Mo. militia.....
BTW, the Mo. militia works with the state and local .govs at various times. They are probably the most toe-the-line of all militias.

IMO, just some guys who like to play guns in the woods on the weekends, and occasionally help out during some natural disaster such as a flood. And believe me, most of us are probably already on several .gov "lists".

If you have time to waste there are plenty of nonprofit organizations that can use a hand or two if you want to be active civilly.

I have already arranged with Ken to be sent to a good FEMA camp with some fellow Arfcommers...
That said take a look at their AARs they came out to an OPEN 1 Shepherd event one time and got us on "the list"
and that Missouri DPS list...
