On 4/29 at Heritage Rifle & Pistol Club there will be a 3-gun USPSA "practice day". This differs from a regular 3-gun USPSA match in that there will be no fees, no scoring, and you can re-shoot the stages over and over again if you messed up. There will be pistol, rifle, and shotgun stages set up during the practice session from about 10 a.m. til 3 p.m. (come and go as you please)
If you have been interested in USPSA shooting, or 3-gunning in general, this is a good opportunity to come try it out in a low pressure environment and get some help in understanding what it is actually all about before you show up at a real match.
However all equipment and safety rules that would apply to a regular USPSA match are still rigidly enforced, so best to be familiar with those if you plan to play. Do not show up with a loaded gun, only handle guns in the designated safe areas, etc. The USPSA rules can be downloaded from their web site at http://www.uspsa.com/
