my firstborn son, delivered at 11:49pm on Christmas Day.

Say hi to the Hoosier ARFcom Army, Calvin!

His first AR is already in the planning stages; he'll be shooting with us in no time...

What a wonderful gift.

Get the AR built and then start a gun safe for him.  My 26 year old has now taken me for 3 hunting rifles, 4 shotguns, ar15 and ar10.  Now he his trying to figure out the combination to my handgun safe.   God love em.

That is AWESOME Mark, Gongrats!  My son is 5 yrs old now and I can tell you with all honesty that I don't know where the time went.  He won't hardly even sit with me anymore!  Enjoy the quiet time when you have it and try to help out his Mommy as much as possible as I'm sure she will be worn out.

Again, congrats!  Nothing like it in the world!

Congratulations!

The second best present EVER would be that he looks more like his mom than his dad as he grows up.

LMAO. You have no idea!  He's got my nose and dimpled chin, but my wife's mouth and cowlick. He's a cutie. It will be an interesting combination as he grows up.

One more pic from a proud papa - this is where I go in my mind, when I need a happy place:

Congrats!

The only bad thing for your son is that people will combine his Chirstmas and birthday presents!

Proven ARFCOm Factoid:  A 3 year old can operate a Dillon 550B and crank out 9mm or .45 at a surprisingly fast rate.

I will give him a 20 rd mag to use for his first coyote hunt.

Actually, it's already in the planning stages, and should be together by his first birthday. He won't actually get to shoot it for a few years, though.

On a related note, a trainer friend of mine has a tradition with both his kids, that I picked up on for Calvin. At age 21, Calvin will receive his first Glock - the Model 26 I wore in the delivery room when he was born. Not coincidentally, that Model 26 was my first Glock, as well.

Firstborn sons are awesome.
