I came up from SE VA today, up Rt. 17 to Rt. 301, up to the Lexington Park / Pax River NAS area.

I had not seen this area of Maryland before, and much of is very scenic and beautiful.

No time for sightseeing, however.  A day and a half of meetings, and then back home.

DrMark, in Maryland (and on dial-up )

Yes, it's pretty to look at but it will bite you in the ass if you get too close, kinda like a big snake...

Hope you stopped by the air museum at Pax River NAS.

Yeah, much of MD is like that, especially southern MD. Nice country, nice people, outdoor opportunities abound, but, negatively affected in a big way by the liberal, urban politics of Baltimore and DC.

Unfortunately, we won't have time this trip.  Only enough time for the meetings.

I'll try to do that next time I'm up here.

Yeah, on the way up we were talking about guns, the liberal politics up here, and "The People's Republik of Maryland's" attitude towards guns.

It's always a shame when the crap from the city spills out to the country.
