Corvettes @ Carlisle that same weekend, FYI.

Not too far from Harrisburg.

I'll be doing both that weekend.

There's a Hooters just west of there, or in York on your way back home.

Harrisburg's downtown waterfront area is nice.

Also, I would suggest you exit on 2nd street and cut through town, following signs for the Farm Show Complex.  Pay close attention or you'll miss them.  83/81 is often a mess just past town.

Minor league ballgames both days.  Cheap & fun.

sounds like an August social event in the making.  99% sure I'm going to the gun show.  I might also slide over to TnT Reloading (just north of Allentown) for a good deal on powder.  I need to feed the black rifle.

Can someone go over directions to the Farm Complex from 83 north? I have been trying to find a good route on mapquest without much success. Is route 2 through town the best way? If so, how do you get to route 2 from 83 north? Any help would be appreciated.

Here's the best I can do (I'm guessing the streets off mapquest):

Yes, I would exit on 2nd Street and go through town.

Go through downtown and after about 8 lights, turn right on DUBBS Ave or FORRESTER St, I can't tell from the map.

It's a big main drag going to the right, it's right past the museum, and there are signs for the FARM SHOW COMPLEX on the right hand of the street, though they are easy to miss.

Take that down to the dead end by the big parking ramp, and turn left.  S/B onto 7th street.  Follow that down to where it becomes a single lane, turn right at the light onto McClay street.  Go up a few blocks, and the Farm Show Complex is on your right.  Turn left at the light for the main drag, S/B Rt22 or North Cameroon street.  Go 1 or 2 lights to the end of the Farm Show Complex, and turn left into the parking area, or right to the overflow parking (signs for both)

That's the route I use.

here's some others:

The best way is to get onto Cameron Street From I83 as fast as you can.  Cameron goes straight there.

I'm in Fredneck.  If you've got room for one more, I'd much rather drive to GB than up to Harrisburg on my own.  Or if there's someone else near me who wants to car pool up, we could arrange another.

Yup!  I love that episode...

Bad news (for me) boys, I need to cancel.

My heat pump took a big dump this afternoon, and I was lucky enough to get a tech to take a look at it tomorrow afternoon.

I'll be at the range next weekend though ...gotta try out the new M4gery.
