Those that know me, know I'm in the scrap business. I do a bit of advertising on the internet. So today while I'm sitting aroung waiting for somebody wanting me to haul a Buick, I get a call from a man in Indiana. He informs me he has five C-130 chassis and wants to know if I can give him $0.64/pound for them.!!

BuiltTough, that's like some dude calling from Cali and wanting you to grind a Redwood stump..!! It's by far the biggest job I've ever been offered, but with a bit of logistics, and a lot of luck, it is "some what possible"..

What's that Hail Mary football thing they talk about..?

In reality, it's a bit out of my league, but who knows....At the least it made for a funny afternoon.

ETA: iNuhBaDNayburhood, dpmmn...Keep me in mind for the next shoot. Blasting cars is for girls....

I will personally donate $100 to the "let's spank the shit out of a C-130 ARFCOM fun shoot" fund

This is way better than a Caddy or El Camino.

I have a Class "A" CDL IF you can get your hands on a flatbed truck and trail to haul it. Although my uncle has a big farm and might be willing to lend the truck but we'd need a trailer:D Cliff What you say?

We can make some from the cardboard we make at work

Or just do the red neck thing and hook up tow straps and pull it

In all reality all we need is a good semi and flat bed. Some oversized load signs and Two for a chaser and a follower and we got it!

that looks to be a little past the width of just signage. it would be over width and overheight......special permits, and maybe LEO escort (not sure of all the state laws between there and here.
