Went to Streicher's today to order some pants.  Saw a S&W 4043 Tactical w/ light rail on the counter.  Asked the salesmen about GG&G products and somehow got on the subject of handguns.  He stated, "I've got a Demo HK USP DAO .40 for $300."  Stated he also had a Beretta 96 Vertec DAO demo for $245!!!!  I asked to see them.  He came back with the HK but no Beretta.  The guy who was buying the S&W also decided to buy the Beretta.  Salesman says they went for $245 each!!!!!  At least (very least) $800 worth of handguns for under $500.  UGH!!!  

Moral of the story-if you go to Streicher's ask if they have any demo guns for sale and make sure you've got the wife buttered up really well.

By-the-way, salesman was a young blonde-haired fellow and was extremely pleasant and helpful.  

DSSPRO:  Went to Sportsman's Guide also and couldn't find the XM193 for $69.95.  Had Q3131A for 4.99 a box.  Help there was also less than stellar.
