Don't worry about finish at all.
Looks just like mine I had since 90s. Approx 10k thru it no problems. Congrats and enjoy! Also, if so desire, contact Oly arms for a cert date range for the S/N. Not that it is required but, $37 last I remember for piece of mind. |

Def don't worry about the finish. Im looking for a pre-ban and for one reason only - so I have a lower I don't mind experimenting on with paint! bahahaha Something about a brand new lower makes me feel bad about rattle canning it. But a pre ban - the shit is 20 years old, who cares!

Sweet...peace of mind always nice. Yeah there are people here with M16 conversions on cast lowers. Ruger made the cast lowers at pine tree. Same place that casts their super strong GP100 frames, etc. |
