It appears that the issue is resolved. There were several lessons learned but nothing I can share until the statute of limitations passes. I think that's a year. One that I can share is if you carry a firearm for protection, get the insurance. Thankful it looks like I won't need it. I will be getting it very soon.
I didn't see the rec for the lawyer in Fairfax. Sounds like she is a good one. The guy I ended up retaining is Stephen Sulzer. I was very pleased with him. Seemed to have a firm grasp on firearms related law. I'll try to come back to this and post lessons learned when I can. |
