I was in this restaurant about 20 minutes before this happened.  I had my daughter with me, so I am not sure if I would have interveened.

Now all of the Ashburnites will be up in arms again.  The Subway in Broadlands was robbed a few weeks ago.

Always armed...I'm not sure I would have intervened either.  Says he only brandished a knife, so depending on his demeanor, I'd have to sit that one out.

Jeez.. as a resident of Ashburn I have to say its been pretty busy as far as crime for the last few weeks!

I too have my CHP, and like amex, never leave home without it.
