What's the going rate in your area? I called the local fun shop and they had used one's for $250-$270 or so, seems kinda steep to me. Am I that far off track?

www.interordnance.com/  is advertising unissued condition M59/66 Yugo SKS's for $149.95

www.southernohiogun.com/surplus_rifles.html has them for $129.99.

If your near Richmond I know SOG has my FFL on file so transfer would be a breeze.

I bought 3 online and never paid more then 149.00.  ETA...Yup I'm a C&R.  The Brownell's discount alone repaid the fee 10x in the 1st year.

Hey!

If you havn't already, send for or download the application for a C&R license from the BATF&E! The best $30.00 dollars you'll spend. After you receive it you can buy them directly from the dealers and have them delivered to your home. Check out the C&R thread for additional info.

Right at or under $200 here in the richmond area I believe.  I got mine at the Gun show at the show place for $190 and I think Greentop has them for around 200, but I'm not positive on that one, you'd have to call them.  They had 3 or 4 there last time I looked though.  I'm not sure about Degoff's, they didn't have any last time I looked, but I dunno about now.  You could always ask Templar.

I was thinking that $150 was about right. I'll go get my C&R liscense now I suppose. $260 for an SKS seems stupid.

When is that show? I know there was one here in Hampton last weekend, but I was in Illinois camping/hunting.

EDIT: I live in Norfolk, but I'll keep the Richmond AO in mind.

The next Richmond show is 16-17 Oct.

Dark Sun had a few SKS specimens at the Hampton show -- at least I think there were guns under that grease...

I don't recall the prices, sorry.
