Sorry, I forgot and let this post get archived. With a new ILGA session starting mid-Jan 2021, I figured it was worth a repost since we don't know what the ILGA will be doing.
This will allow future reference without repeating information in potential forthcoming committee hearing postings.
If something is not clear or needs to be added, please offer your suggestions. Sorry if there's too much info...added a TL;DR edit.

Firearm and related bills may be listed on a committee agenda but they may not get called due to bill volume that day, lack of votes, etc. Committees are typically stacked with a majority of Dems and Pro 2A bills often get voted down but we need to make positions heard.

TL;DR-Submitted bills go through committee hearings before getting to a floor debate and vote.
-Witness slips allow one to make their bill positions known to legislators and counts are read into the record (I think).
-Registering at
http://my.ilga.gov/Account/Register makes it easier to submit/change/correct opponent/proponent positions.
-Login and create/submit your witness slip position. See
http://illinoiscarry.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=32865 or youtube video below.
-If a hearing is rescheduled, slips need to be refiled.
-Will try to post bill alerts and links when possible.
