Can that be correct, 17,000 to paint the exterior and interior of my home??  Single story, 3000-4000sqft...I mean I didn't ask for the panda blood or unicorn tear upgrades, but I guess that is automatically added in???

Suppose it depends on what all needs to be done and the type of paint.

That sounds a little high but then we did our interior ourselves for something like $500.
I'll wait till the hoa sends me a letter to bother with the exterior.

So, with some mathimatizin,  exterior would cost 9k, and interior would cost 8,250.00... almost to the dollar, for 2 of the 4 bids I have gotten...I guess it is market rate for this size home...I do appreciate the replies guys, just don't need to be robbed, because this home needs a lot of love, and I don't have the money to be stupid with it..

I have had people giving me ridiculous bids on some of the projects I am having done, like 2X3 times higher than others, and the fact this house is BIG!!!...I need a smaller home, but love having an 1100 sq.ft master bedroom.
