Just a heads up, the online WI DNR Spring Hearings for 2022 start at 7:00 p.m. this evening. One of the Wisconsin Conservation Congress Advisory questions pertains to capping state wide wolf population at 350 animals. Currently, there is an estimated 1100 wolves state wide in WI and are under federal protection.

Will there be any judges from California there To give us their opinion?

Maybe... but there for sure will be a shit-ton of anti-gun and animal rights activists taking part to skew the results into being ass-backwards. When the hearings were 'in-person' only, only those who actually participated and gave a shit, made the effort to show up and vote. And people were allowed to "testify" and speak their minds either for or against any proposed rule changes. I went every year they were in-person beginning in 1992. There were some good arguments put forth and minds were changed. Actual rational discussions took place. Now that you can be a nuisance in the comfort of your own liberal shithole, the whole process is fucked from the get-go.

There is also an advisory question pertaining to the return of "in person" deer registration stations and a return to the back tag requirement. One argument for the return to "in person" registration is that the "honor system" of online registration isn't being followed and the return to mandatory back tags would help identify trespassers/game violators.
