It's getting to be that time again.  We haven't had a dinner in quite awhile.

I was thinking about incorporating it into a shoot in Watertown at the Watertown Conservation Club (my home club).  I will be talking to the club president on Friday about the possibility.  My idea was:

Alumni training 8am - 10am.  Open shoot with rangemaster from 10 am - 2 pm, then have a cookout on the club grounds.  They have a nice pavilion, pond, and clubhouse as well.  I think I can make it happen provided we have a rangemaster and run it that way.  Anyone from the group an NRA certified rangemaster?

If that doesn't work out, someone mentioned having a cookout at their place in Madison.

Who is free and when?

It's possible depending on the date and time.  Hunting season is upon us.

Sounds interesting, except for the alumni part.  I am an alumnus of a few institutions, but not sure if any of them count.  Seriously, unless this is for members of some "exclusive" club I would be interested in attending, not so much for hardcore training, but rather to shoot with/meet some other WI AR15.com'mers.

I'm an alumni, but not from WI.
I suppose it wouldn't be the first party in Wisconsin I've crashed though.

I was actually just down the road in Dodgeville camping with my wifes family.  I had originally thought about bugging out for part of the day and getting a few hours of training time in at BC's.  After donating stem cells on Mon-Tues, I decided it would do me good to just relax for the weekend though.  From the pics, it looks like it was a good time.

If we do it this weekend I'd have to come out after work, but not a problem, though it would suck to have to miss the morning session. But I can live with that.
