Wish I could. We're at half staff right now with all the public schools closed and parents staying home to watch the kids. Being a bachelor, I don't have that excuse.

what do they say? o yeah. PEER PRESSURE give in to the PEER PRESSURE. you know you want to. i have been watching jacks in the snow all morning. i am sure the coyotes are out there too. and the white stuff does make them easier to see.

i just went to the mailbox. it is pretty much white out conditions here now. we didnt get a lot of snow, but its still snowing a little and blowing a lot. but i still welcome someone to come shoot this weekend.

the car is probably fine. although you will have to park up the street. i dont want anyone knowing i let japanese cars on my place. just kidding. i am sure the car would be fine we dont have much snow. and it will probably melt some by then. and i am good about anytime.

we can shoot on private with the .50. i dont have steel targets for the .50 though. or we can shoot at the pawnee if you prefer.
anytime is good but if afternoon is better for some, just set a time and we will go with it. |

Meeting at noon will work for me - I can bring my beat up 12" steel gong that is good for .50 use. I haven't been out there since we did that clean up in the spring, but I liked how the area gives plenty of long range shooting options.

Looks like my 10am trip to DIA turned into me 'entertaining' the people I am picking up till the boss' flight comes in... such is life at a law firm.
ps - HR does not think taking them shooting is 'entertainment'... (although I could expense ammo, how sweet would that be) Looks like I will have to wait yet again to play with the .50.. So... if anyone wants to hang out with lawyers from 10am... till.. who knows when... No you can't use them as targets either. If anyone wants to put down at $10k deposit you can borrow the girl :) No I won't accept wives or children as a deposit lol.. I honestly think my boss did this because he WANTS to shoot the .50.. I'll keep my eyes open for more gatherings.. I want to get this Barrett broken in! |

when ever anyone one wants to shoot i am probably ready. but today wasnt the best day. snow + sun = stuck.
we did get to shoot the big 50 bolt gun today for all of you who missed out. ha ha. now if monky brings ronnie and chris's 50 we can see how it shoots. |

we didnt make it to the range. but where we shot here in these pictures you could go 850 yards i think.
but if you make it another half mile or so you can shoot to at least 1200 yards. maybe more. |
