for everyone who find themselves out hunting game this season, keep your muzzles in a safe direction.  If you can, take a youngster.  

Turkey starts tomorrow.  Anyone going out?  We are going to try and get up there Friday morning and see what I can stir up.

Guess I should also go get an elk liscence. My buddy went bow hunting and said they are already going bugaling!  Could spell a hard winter.

Got the goose/duck lease set up today. So bring on the early season.  1 Month away!!!!! I can't wait to schmack some darn sky rats!!! I can breathe again!  

If anyone has a youth they would like to have go goose hunting (youth season), let me know, I may be able to get them out.  

I have been hunting down near Saguache the past few years, so, no not really.  

I didn't draw any big game tags this year so I may stay up this way.  If I go elk hunting, it will be just thrown together.  Over the counter would be fine.  My buddy has run into a few big bulls so far but nothing with a real clear shot (bow hunting).  He had a nice 6x6 come in last night but it stayed behind some trees.

How about you?  You get tags?

I know the feeling.  Hunting big game alone is sketchy.  

If I don't get on to some private land I have been working on, I will let you know.  I can't believe they are already buguling!!  Last year they waited till the last few days of bow season.
