...is looking pretty! There's about an inch of snow left, that's melting rapidly.
The roads are bare and wet, until the last 100 yards or so, so no traction devices or 4WD are required for the Friday arrivals. Who knows for tomorrow... Some areas of the road are soft from the freezes, so low cars will want be carefull going around them.
Tents will be placed in slush, or on ice, depending on Mother Nature. Tarps advised.
The fire area is below, at the very north end of the pit. This should make for a much quieter social area for the weekend. Parking and camping same place as before, between the firing line and new fire pit.
They were loading a log truck approximately one mile in, but no other traffic to report.
Waterproof shoes/boots, raingear and cold weather clothing/gloves advised.
