I'm in. Not sure yet about Taurus or Sgt_Gumby-- though he's been standing flood watch all week, and is probably ready to decompress hard. And I will be working the table on Sunday.
Now to see if James has any more 5.45 left-- otherwise it's M855 for this kid!

Depth charges? Try some shenannegans like that at NAVSTA Everett or any other Naval base and you'll experience the brain-melting power of SONAR. Nothing like swimming along and getting pinged with AN/SQS-53B, AN/SQS-53C or even the demure little AN/SQS-56. When your body floats to the surface, some squid who may or may not be trained gets to ventillate the floater with an M14.

I'll be opting out of the fun this time --- my Wife's Uncle Charley passed away a couple of days ago after a massive stroke and extended stay in the hospital --- so we'll be attending the memorial service tomorrow.
Uncle Charley lived in a nice house right on the lake as you drive into Granite Falls on the way to 'The Pit'. I always say 'hi' when I'm on the way to a shoot. We'll miss him. Meanwhile, you guys have fun and we'll see you next time. "AR-RRRrrrrr!" ( don't forget to do that when one of us shows up at the restaurant! ). |
