an UZI clone or a M-16A1 clone?  We finaly got Emily's med bills down so that we could refinance the house and pay the rest off.  I am going to get some cash out of the deal and I just can't seem to decide.  So I need imput.  I've always wanted an UZI ever since I was a kid, but the m-16A1 would go so well with my collection, you know my 1954 H&R Garand my 1964 M-14 clone and then if I got the M-16 it would fit the ten year progression for a 1974 M-16A1.  Then I would have to get the 1984 A2 just to fit.  It doesn't ever end does it?
On the other hand the UZI fires an inexpensive round, mags are relitivley cheap.  An UZI would be a hoot to own, and if I ever do move to Idaho I can have it converted to an SBR fairly cheaply.....plus they are just so cool and mean looking.
they are both on the EE right now so I gotta move quick but which one? which one?
As you guys can see, I am in a quandry and just can't decide which way to jump.

Having owned both it is just my personel opinion the 5.56 is way more versitile, the UZI is a fun toy but i wouldnt choose it as a serious weapon.

Now this is the right thred for that!  see my post in the selfless pandering for my son thred.  , The AR's ARE just TOYS, not for serious use beyond 250 yrds, or urban CQB serious use is why I have the M-14 and/or the FAL.  Of course the UZI would make a good house gun for the wife and kids.
