I know I've seen some information regarding this topic before, but I can't find it so here goes...

As a resident of Washington I asked for and received the information to apply for a concealed pistol license in Oregon (Washington County).  One of the their requirements is a letter “disclosing your compelling business interest or other legitimate demonstrated need for holding an Oregon concealed handgun license”.

I’m curious what other people’s experiences were when applying for the Oregon CPL’s were.

Also wanted to know if anyone had any tips for writing a compelling letter?

Thanks!
