Very poor penetration.

Excellent energy transfer.

Whats the TKO on that Subaru?

Do you get to make a rug out of it?

Not much exterior damage to the Subaru, hows the hidden stuff?

Glad no person was hurt. Obviously cannot say the same about the bear.

She was also lucky, apparently, regarding car damage. A friend of mine had her car almost destroyed when she hit a cow on the road.

M is fine or else I wouldn't have posted the

. Car is mostly cosmetic, only true damamge is the pass side front turn indicator is now inop. May have popped the bulb on impact, haven't checked, Debating on turning it in for ins, still have two years to pay on it. Car has already been hit once when it was two weeks old, unins motorist. Deductible was $500 on that one and not sure if another driver (M) is covered in my car. Too many Qs.

YEah, she's pretty unhappy about killing "a little bear", I told her she was acting as an agent of Darwin but she's not comforted. Anything stupid enough to wander onto a highway needs to die before breeding.

Monday wheel bearing, Wednesday bear strike, today clutch.

Not a good week for that automobile.

Sounds like you do need to turn it in to insurance. It had to have been a pretty tough hit it if smoked the clutch.

Nah, clutch has 100,000 on it, it's been on the sked for replacement for awhile.

Ins is going to cover the car, gotta pony up the $500 deductible and get it fixed within the month.

So, wheel bearing, new tires, new clutch, bear repair. It's a sign alright, a sign I need to move closer to work.
