seriously look into the weber carb conversion, its worth the work.  if you're handy with tools you can buy a weber off ebay for about $60, and the conversion pieces will run you about another $75 with a rebuild kit.  I slapped one on mine and its like night and day compared to the old pos carb.

but mine needs a rebuild as well, its got so much blowby that you can use the breather on the valve cover for a blowdryer

My Samurai was the best vehicle I ever owned.  That was until I got hit by a lifted 3/4 ton pickup.  Shorted my Samurai by about 3 feet.

Calmini is kind of like Special weapons. looks good but the funtion is not so good. try trail tough or petroworks, stay away from rocky road as they don't ship in your lifetime.

Go for the 1.6L (8 or 16V) on the new engine BTW you will thank me for it.
