I've been looking into non fab-10 CA legal AR15's lately. I'm not sure if I will have the time and resources to complete an 80% so I've been looking into Vulcan. Does anyone know a dealer in SoCal that stocks Vulcan lowers?

They didn't have it listed on their website so I emailed them asking if they carried the Vulcan lower. Didn't really expect this response:

We do not carry the Vulcan AR 15 lower, and we also do not believe that
this lower is approved for CA.

I do, however, carry the FAB10 lower, which many of our customers have
purchased and are satisfied with.

I would guess that if they were up to date w/ the FAB10 they'd know about the Vulcan. I guess the search continues...

Just get it over with and email Vulcan directly at [email protected] for retailer info. They reply fast (got back to me in 5 minutes during business hours) and when I did they included the price list, which included dealer pricing, so you know if (or how bad) the dealer is screwing you.

So if the lower is not approved, How are they selling them here. Are they going to confiscate them or what. I sure would hate to get fucked with over something I thought I legally purchased??

It's only that FFL does not believe it's approved, it doesn't mean it ain't. One person's opinion without facts to back it up, one way or the other.

Hmmm, I emailed them yesterday and still haven't heard from them. We'll see what happens I guess.

I emailed them as well regarding dealers who carry Vulcan. No response yet.

I just received this email from Vulcan. h=85%

Hi

As of right now I do not think you will find any dealer that holds a CA legal lower in stock.
We are simply out of the them at the moment.
We will have more ready to ship in 2-3 weeks.
I also added to the email a list of all of our CA dealers. On the end of each list there is a date, that's the expiration date of the FFL.
Make sure not to use an expired one though we mush list it.
