My upstairs unit died. It has an airhandler in the second floor attic. I already have a newer system for downstairs, a top tier Carrier installed by Total Comfort about 2 years ago. For the attic one a newly installed Carrier unit is $8200 which I feel is waay too much but prices seem to have skyrocketed from 2 years ago. I am not looking at Carrier specifically, more interested in a serviceable unit at a good price from an alternative HVAC company in the area.Thanks.

My in-laws just used Davis Bros to replace their unit in Daytona Beach. They were happy with them. I don't know what brand they ended up going with.

Armstrong Air installed my system. Carrier w/ an Aprilaire fresh air ventilation. I'm in NSB and I think they are in the Orlando area. I've had them out to do the routine services a few times and they have been easy to work with.
