Quoted: and yet every year, more of the bastards just move here permanently View Quote Some of us need to flee states where there are socialists and communists in state government. Wearing 6" of clothes during the winter months is a giant pain in the a$$ too. For the record, I make Rush Limbaugh look like a left wing liberal. Hope Florida can handle it when the wife and I make the move. |

Not damnyankee Democrats (but I repeat myself) coming here to save a few bucks on taxes and to get away from the cold. |

Get them damn yankees off the road and beaches already!
We don't mind right minded northern immigrants but there are too few compared to the brain dead snow zombies. |

Desantis and co need to start passing laws that make leftists refuse to move here regardless how bad it is in their states.
Ignoring the massive argument this is on arf, if the state outright banned all abortions you could safely bet a bunch of leftists would refuse to move here and bunch would move out. I mean, just look at the insane reaction the anti-grooming bill has gotten. I wonder if it would be possible to amend state laws to make it where people who move to the state couldn't vote in state elections for ... say, five years or so. Etc. (just spitballing here) |

I can’t wait for the 2nd half of July! |

Heading to Alabama for a week. Seeing a lot of north bound yankees on I-75.

I drove from New Smyrna Beach to Naples this weekend to visit my parents. Naples was still super busy. 5th Ave packed. Rich people love eating pasta. Lots of traffic on the way there. Took almost 6 hours. Only took about 4 to get home. Gas was $0.30 - $0.50 more per gallon in Naples as well.

OK, hear me out. We convert the left lanes on 95 and 75 to snowbirds only. Yeah. we have to slow down to 85-90 since the lose the fast lane but it gets them out of the state faster! I think it is worth it...

C'mon Man!!
I need another month of sales from them....youse guys don't drink near enough without their help!! |

There was a time we could tell snowbirds went back north, but not any longer. I see no difference in the crowds and traffic.
If you're not seated in a restaurant by 5:50 pm, you're in for an hour + wait. And they are nowhere done with the building here. New construction is booming here. |

It's taken me 11-12hrs to get to NW FL, it takes me 8-9 to go from NW FL to Naples. |

Damn snow birds have made impossible to get to Risque Cafe in a reasonable amount of time....

You have to pretty much book almost a year in advance to get into a state park that has RV sites. Because of the snow birds

Drove from Broward to South Carolina, All New York plates and Canuck plates on the road North. I'm sure they were wondering why I was honking and cheering them on. GTFO!

A week ago Monday, headed up 95 to north Georgia, lots of northeast tags heading that way, thinking YES, bout time. This past Saturday, headed home, even more of those tags were headed south....WTF???????
Most of them went west on I4 though...... |

I'm a native and cannot wait to GTFO of Tampa. We are inundated with people from two islands. One has blue around the white star and the other has red around the star of the flags.
The flags they fly at their residence, on their vehicles and hang from their rear view mirrors. Island birds are far worse than snow birds. |

Couldn't prove it by me.
Still plenty of Noo Yawk, Joisey and Canuckistan tags in Brevard. |

As a friend once said-liberalism is a disease that is rare to cure. I meet very few people from NJ/NYC, NE that I care for. They have an automatic strike until proven otherwise, same for the French Canadians, arrogant pricks

Ex lifetime Palma Ceia residents, we bailed at my Wife's retirement to our lakeplace in ONF in '17. Traffic, crime, blue stench politics, on top of having to have your head on a swivel 100% of the time. The last straw for me was when they assessed us a $83 yearly "Storm Water run off Fee" for the rainwater that ran down my driveway into the street. WTF!! We got out before they assessed us for the oxygen we breathe. What a fukn blue shithole. |

Been here since 1970 and I welcome the liberty minded individuals who will stand up. As for the Blue voters....please stay where you are. Last week I saw the second "Turn Florida Blue" sticker on a truck parked at Publix (Marion)... I am trying not to be triggered.

Yesterday I stopped on a I-75 overpass in Manatee county (Linger Lodge Rd) - I counted 17 RV's towing cars going north in the 10 minutes I was there.
Buh-Bye |

I think many are still looking to buy or just bought new homes. The interest rates don't affect those paying cash. |
