Legislative gun win

Local governments lose. Heads up Local CBS affiliate uber liberal.

Seems foolish it wasn't thrown out of court at the start.

There's a huge body of law that says yes, State Government can prohibit local governments from passing laws about subjects.   You'd be laughed out of court for any of these other aspects.

Yet, for guns, the first judge pulled out of his ass some idea that since guns are so dangerous to us all!!!, that it's OK for locals to violate state law.

The State had to write this law, with penalties and charges possible on a personal basis to local elected officials, to keep them from passing whatever they wanted and then having their local enforcers (cops) arrest citizens for it anyway.  Sad when elected reps don't follow the law unless under threat of their own arrest, but such is current life.
