Omega is starting to offer complete Gideon Shadow pistols in 9mm & .40 cal .They also have some barreled uppers and stripped receivers for those who wish to build up their UMP Kit. Prices seem to be in line with roller lock offerings .

I put my order in this morning, and already got the notification that it's picked up for shipping. Looking forward to it! Nice to see the price drop too.

Omega is working on this now & hope to see them in 6 - 8 weeks but that is not set in stone. They have been very busy with the 9mm models both Gideon & their Roller lock series .

Any word when these or stripped receivers will be back in stock? And if I buy a stripped receiver it’s all plug and play with .45 right? So buy a receiver and when I get my form 1 back just get a .45 kit and assemble..profit?

The .40 speaks to me for some reason. No interest in a 9mm at all. And I could convert the .40 to a .45 later on.
I know the flange is "correct" for a UMP 40 clone, but I wish it used something like the the HK Parts 3-lug/threaded barrel. Atlantic, can you maybe send that feedback back? I don't want to have to replace the barrel or have reprofiled out the gate. |
