How do I attach a sling to my S&B Brace?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do I attach a sling to my S&B Brace?

It's on a Zenith Z5P. SBT5KA. There is just a depression drilled, no hole or cutouts in the side for a bearing. ??

Its a quick detach (aka QD) socket. I have a Magpul MS4 attached to mine.

There's nothing for the bearings to grab onto, the walls are smooth.

There is a small lip that prevents the QD from slipping out.

Yes, this is the one advantage of the newer aluminum version of the brace, it has a QD attachment. The older B&T version comes with a sling swivel but it’s not QD.

It'll work. I've got that same brace on my Z-43P and it works just fine with a QD swivel.

I'd wait till Gear Head Works comes out with the all-in-one collapsible brace (kinda like what PSA had on their Shot Show MP5). That way you can either pick one of those up or get a good discount on the numerous SB5 Tactical Braces that will probably flood the EE soon aftwards.
