I'm looking for any links to online suppliers for parts, i.e., rollers, firing pins, bolt-heads, stocks,
etc. Even HK USP parts.

I want to know what experiences you've had and with whom . . . . . as I'm kinda nervous ordering from somebody I have not ordered from before.

Thanks . . . .

I have delt with POF and have found Chris to be a great salesman.  While alot of their inventory is out of stock right now, the still have a bunch of stuff.
POF

I have never delt with Robert, but he does have a very good reputation on the various boards.
RobertRTG

JLD has a good reputation on the boards as well
JDL

Some people like them, some don't but...
Top-Notch Parts

I am not a big fan of Inter-Ordnance but some have had no issue
Inter-Ordnance

Same with SARCO
Sarco

There are more, and I am sure that someone will be along shortly to give links to them.

There are also a lot of members on this board that sell many HK parts.

Here's a list of who I've dealt with over the years, I've had good luck with all except Cals, and I'm not sure if AA-OK and Hi-Vel are still in business.

RobertRTG is excellent and has very reasonable prices. Ive ordered a bunch of G3/G36 etc stuff from him.  His stuff is always way better than he describes it.

Forget TN and Sarco. No point in putting yourself thru all that, listen to those who have gone before...

I bought a brand new G3 parts kit from Sarco, everything went well cept a cocking tube was missing from one of the kits and I had to call them to make good.  Which they did.

Sarco and Inter-Ordnance seem to be hit or miss.  Either you do great or it is the worst experience and you wouldn't take a winning lottery ticket from them.  I have never delt with either and unless absolutely no one else has a part I am looking for, I probably won't.

Yep, just because of the treatment others have received!

Damn. . . . . . . . . . I had no idea how many different parts and variations, etc. are in the HK

world . Especially after looking at hkspecialists' website.  I've been building AR's for a few

years now for myself and friends, but, I've gotta a long way to go with HK's it seems .

One more question;  can anybody point me in the right direction to manuals, diagrams, or

ANYTHING towards building them, repairing them, and what parts can go with other

rifles??

some info can be found at HKPro

I have copies of most of the armorer manuals and while they do list part numbers, they are of limited help in putting them together.  Just basic information about cleaning and service.  They are assuming that you are working on a completed rifle already.

AA-OK is still in business selling AK parts.  They sold their entire inventory of HK parts to Top Notch.  Hi-Vel is also still in business.  Their catalog still lists HK parts for sale.

Anyone know if these HK parts sources have the HK 416 diopter sights?

I have contacted some of them - and some others - to no avail.

TIA

The only place I have seen them from time to time is on HKPRO.  Check their Marketplace.  A set just sold..  for something over $300 though...

Does anybody have info on building these, and info such as variations in trigger packs?  Such as

"clipped", "pinned", what size rollers go with what rifle, what parts work in what ??!

It's immensely confusing

Also, Gordon Miller just received a huge inventory of used parts from the Training and Evaluation department at HK USA.  Here is a partial list, for those interested in used parts...
