Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Will collapsible stock work on the Special Weapons SW5?

Has anybody put a collapsible stock on their SW5?  I've got the 1st production gun (verified by Special Weapons) and word has it that it wont take a collapsible stock.  I was under the impression that they were HK "clones", so what could be different that it would not work with an A3 stock?

1st run then its probably cast.. if so ask Todd over at HK-54..

If its a stamping any stock should work...

There is some interference that won't allow you to attach a collapsible stock to a cast receiver SW5.  The metal that is in the way canbe removed.  I do not know how difficult an operation it is.  I like the regular stock.  The advantage I see to a collapsible stock is that it will be easier to store.
