Yes, but not much.

I put the rig together this way basically to demonstrate the B. E. Meyers mount, but it's really actually not all that great of a mount (which is why it never really made it past the prototype phase), and on top of that, the NT4/HK416 combination really just isn't that great, so I'm not planning to shoot it much in this configuration.

I'll pretty much do a live-fire demonstration video in the near future, and then I'll take it back apart, and restore it to its "normal" configuration with the Surefire suppressor and Geissele handguard.

B. E. Meyers 249F-S Prototype Mount for KAC NT4QDSS

Please forgive the exaggerated movements and shakiness of the video, my "cameraman" (iPhone holder) and I were barely keeping it together and trying to do the video in one take, both to limit the number of rounds I needed to put through the mount/can, and so as not to take up too much of our range time making the video.

Needless to say, I was quite happy to be able to finally remove the B. E. Meyers mount and put the Surefire mount back on, just all around a much better combination. Also managed to snag an old-school EOTech Gen. 1 3x magnifier to go with all the rest of the "old school" furniture for 416 upper.

Thanks, it was really the only feasible method of storing all of my handguns in the room available. Each drawer is designated by caliber, from 22 to 45.

I finally removed the Gemtech multi-mount suppressor from my Colt 9mm SBR and put it on my MP5 clone.  I was bummed that the tri-lug adapter doesn't clear the Surefire light so I had to use the barrel thread adapter.

Cheers

Honestly I have no idea who makes it and forgot what I paid for it 15 years ago but it's a slick setup. The unit is 4ft wide and 3ft deep with drawer height of 2.75in or so. I have mine setup primary by caliber with a couple exceptions as the one shown above.

I bought a HK USP Compact .45ACP, in 2010, and I bought a Glock 19 to go with it. Went to Cabela's and the salesman was kind of a dick about me buying the HK. Like I was too young for a $900 handgun or some shit. Then, after that, I said "OK now go ring me up that Glock 19 over there" and he looked at me silly, like "Who buys 2 pistols in 1 trip?" I handed him cash for both, and met the escort at the front door to take my pistols home. (Looked kind of cool, walkin out, new pistol case in each hand )
