I picked this up today. I met up w/a Garand collector that generously agreed to let one of his nicer pieces go. The fact that he just picked up 5 more at the recent GCA Convention in Alabama helped a bit... :D
We put 3-4 clips of ammo thru it, sighting it in to my specs. I didn't get it perfect, but that'll come. It's a '53 receiver and barrel, rebuilt in '65. The stock is an near mint USGI, with a nice cartouche. I couldn't be happier with it!
