Purchased a stock from Freds, It did not come with a metal stock liner. Also, unlike my birch stock there are no Stock liner holes to screw the liner in. Any help would be appreciated.

I just put the synthetic stock on and put the magazines in. Without a liner , the magazines floats around an awful lot. Why is that?? Nothing goes where the metal liner would go on a wood Stock?

No, nothing goes in there, a liner in a wood stock was used to reinforce the stock, The synthetic stock is much, much, stronger and dosen't need the liner. I have the synthetic stock on my rifle (polytech) right now, I haven't had any problems with it.
