Prices, lately , have gone through the roof.. Type II's are going for $150 on E-Pay... Orion7 has them from time to time on their Collector's Only page for approx. $100

At the rate prices are going, your best bet might be to call the CMP store and see if you can get a field grade M1 Garand with a lockbar type sight and then just swap the sights. $150 is ridiculous, as the field grade rifles are $325!
