Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone mounted a compact variable scope (IOR/NF/Leupold) on an M1A?

I have a Smith Ent. mount on my M1A and want to mount a compact variable powered scope. Considering IOR 1.1-4X26, Nightforce 1-4X24 and 2.5-10X24 and Leupold 1.5-5X20. Concerned scope may not be long enough to correctly mount for proper eye relief (won't be able to mount it far enough back). If anyone has mounted one of these scopes on an M1A using the Smith mount, please let me know how you set it up. Please indicate what rings you used and their height. Pics would be great.
