so for about a month now i had been wanting a lever gun something awful , so long story short i found a guy on a local classified page wanting to sell or trade

a marlin model 30tk not knowing much about lever guns i offer to trade him this smith and wesson sigma i have, and to my surprise he wants to trade, so needless to say yesterday

i meet this guy and brought home a shiny new to me marlin. don't know much about the model other then it was a contract gun for k-mart several years ago and had a short production run

so do i do good or not?

Pictures would help - but frankly, I think you got the good end of that deal. While Smith's are favorites of mine, the Sigma is a "Meh" hand gun. I'd be glad to see it go..

no reach around included in the trade but the funny thing is i think the guy thought he was getting the better of me in this deal

Well it was a good trade for both of you then. Too bad he is mistaken. Maybe he wont shoot the sigma much.
