70 degrees at 45 to 55% is ideal.  Looks like you're in pretty good shape.

I'm at like 65-70 at 30-40 depending on the season.  Basement with safe with Golden Rod and an Eva Dry 500.

That's a 49*F dew point at 68*/51%. So anything in that space below 49*F will generate condensation. I suspect there's no way your safe will get that cold.

Mines is in the teens most of the time.  82 degrees and 13% humidity.
No wood stocks, so the lower the better for me.

I run 2 golden rods and multiple Eva Dry dehumidifiers.
This keeps relative humidity and actual humidity low.

This thread started me thinking.

Does anybody use something similar to this? Remotely monitor and log temp/humidity. I have a goldenrod and no rust issues, *knocks on wood.

Use this dew point calculator, it will let you know if your levels are acceptable. its a little tough to use on a mobile device. http://www.dpcalc.org/

I have a hydrometer that I bought for a Martin guitar case that is now repurposed for use in my safe.  Made the decision that I wanted the bells and whistles so now I've order the Lockdown wireless hydrometer.  Been getting readings of about 45-49 percent humidity within the safe compared to 57-70 percent outside the safe with the installed 12" dehumidifier.
