Yes. You don't need to transfer all the old transactions.
I assume the 5800 number is not guns on hand, but transactions, correct? If thats the case, the easiest way would be to put all your guns on hand into the new electronic book from yourself and then close out all the open entries in your paperbook with a statement like "transferred to E-book" or something like that. Or you could just put any guns you log in from here on out into your e-book and leave your paper books open until all the other guns on hand are sold.

You could also scan the old pages of the A&D book and save that in you e-files.
I'm not a computor guru but I think there are programs out there that let you scan documents into workable pages. That would be a cool if that can be done. Maybe some of the computer guys here can chime in. |
