I've read that you shouldn't use wet lube on the trigger mech, but rather dry lube.

What say you guys?

What's your strategy w your Aug, trigger and rest?

Speaking for myself, I have not put any lube (Dry or Wet) in the hammerpack, neither do I plan on doing so.

For general lubrication, a light coat of mobil 1 has always worked for me.

No lube on the trigger mechanism or pack.

I put a drop of CLP on the hammer spring in the pack and that it...
The bolt assembly (extractor/ejector/lugs and the llocking piece  get lube)
Some people lube the piston rings some do not.
The trigger? No need.
I just use regular CLP

It's a military weapon.....
