I shot some in 308 and 25 WSSM yesterday. No phenomenal groups, but I'll try and get some data posted up soon.
What charges are you using with the 25 WSSM?
[Insert typical disclaimer here]
Like any load data, you need to work up, but this was the first time I ever had absolutely nothing to go on except load data for the 223 WSSM and the 243 WSSM. My first outing I think I was on the low side, so I bumped it up a little this time out. Using the 100gr Sierra MK I used loads of 37gr, 38gr and 39gr with good success. As I have heard, the WSSM brass is very hard to tell any over pressure signs, and mine looked fine.
I spoke with a tech at IMR a while back and he said the load density was not ideal with bullets 100gr and up with the 8208 powder. I also shot 2 loads with 87gr Bergers. If I can get the formatting right with this web site I'll post up the chrono data, I'm too lazy to type it all (rather than copy and paste, lol).
Here is my data from the other day for the 25 WSSM.
