I am looking at this knife: OKC Ranger Afghan 5.0" blade

I have had and handled the RAT series in the past, how are these knives viewed? They seem to be made more rugged and with different steel. I like their look and design, but don't know if they are a good value. They seem to be availiable for $70-90 shipped.

Thanks

They are what you would expect. American made in America simple and straight forward like a kbar but no partial tang handle. Good value and available. Definitely a production knife made by a good company. And as such ...priced to use and not cry for weeks cause you lost it.

Yep! I just got one of these. They're pretty darn heavy for the size though. Big solid chunk of steel.
