I made this one from 01 but I am considering 1095 because it's a bit more forgiving during the heat treat phase.  What do you think of using carbon fiber for the pins and tube?  Thanks in advance for the feedback.http://www.bushmonkeyknives.com/IMG_0955_op_768x586.jpg

Thanks for the compliment.  I have made quite a few of these using G10 and micarta.  This was my first one in a bright color as I usually use earth tones and OD.

I think the CF pin and tube are a nice touch too.  Alot of times bronze or silver pins can take away from the knife's scales and actual blade.  I dig it !

I just had 50 blanks cut out on the waterjet cutting machine and will try some G10 pins and spacer material as well - thanks again for your comments.
