Hey guys I bought a cheap 20 dollar Buck a while back, trying to learn about steels and whatnot.

It says 318 with a little downward arrow on the blade, also made in China.

Whats that number mean?

Is there a good knife comparison chart about steels anywhere.

My google search did not clarify it.
