About damn time. If I remember correctly you first asked about 50's in this forum well over a year ago. Congratulations and welcome to the club!

Yea, it was time. Been reading up a lot but sure I'll have questions. For starters---Barrel break in and a cleaning kit---any leads?

Here's Armalite's own thoughts on barrel break-in. Of course there are several opinions about breaking in barrels so I suppose you should pick the one that sounds best to you.

Thanks for the replies---break in is pretty normal to what I'm used to. Kinda ominus hunk of metal and looking for any and all tips and info I may have missed. Thanks again!!!!

Have two----The one for the 50 arrived via BBT the day I picked up the 50. This has been in the works for awhile.

I've got the 8.5x32x56 on my AR-50....which one did you get?

NXS 5.5x22x56. Thought about the 8.5x32 but figured if I needed more power it will give me an excuse to by another one and put this one on another rifle.
